Day Twenty Six

Today has been one heck of a day. I feel like today I finally started doing some of the things I've been planning to do (and didn't do some of the things I planned to do). But I finally started setting up my niche site for my niche site case study (yeah!)

I'm so excited to do this. This won't be my first niche site, but this one isn't as broad in scope as my others and it's an enjoyable side project for me just to learn from. I'm especially hoping to test and tweak some good backlinking strategies. I'm also hoping to finish up a product in the niche and sell that via the site.

Tonight I need to try and keep this short so I can read a little bit then get to bed… I really don't want to get sick with what the kids had. I think Scott is already getting sick and Honor is sleeping very, very poorly. Best for me not to push it, I have too much to do!!

Today I:

I didn't get the email written for my sequence that I wanted to… tomorrow, hopefully. I worked some on my niche site's logo. I really do enjoy working in the GIMP even if it's not really income-producing. It's fun, and it's tangible “work” that the kids like to watch.

I also listened to some podcasts and got in a nice walk to the corner grocery store. I'm still really thinking podcasting is something I'd like to get into. I think it would be another good thing for the kids as it's more “tangible” than seeing me write. I would really like to think of how to get them more involved in my online businesses.
