About Me
My name is Kristen Burgess. I have a love for design and a love for children.
Throughout my life I've loved art. As I grew older I became more and more attracted to the technical facets of design.
I've enjoyed everything from art classes to computer design programs. I also intensely love technical theatre.
Studying lighting design has given me a clear sense of how color plays a vital role in our lives and on our canvases - be they digital, print, or across a stage.
My fascination with web development began as I started my first web site in college and has grown just as steadily as the internet has grown
I love the coding involved with web design. I enjoy planning every facet of a project - from the initial brainstorming and graphics development to the down-in-the-trenches problem solving that comes with coding a beautiful and standards-based website.
I continue to learn and grow every single day. I learn through study of books and the work of other web professionals, as well as through each and every one of my own design projects. Your website will impact my life as much as it impacts yours.
The Best in My Life
As I mentioned above I also love children. I have a special love for three of them - my own little ones. I have a girl and two boys and they are the lights of my world. They provide the living color in the the canvas of my life.
We live a relatively quiet life. I work on designs and coding as they learn throughout the day. We also have plenty of time for singing, dancing, fun, and everybody's favorite - food. We enjoy culinary artistry to its fullest capacity ;)
My children are my inspiration - they've given me the self-confidence to truly pursue my design work. The imprint of their joy and vibrant souls shines through in every design I build. I am blessed to have them.
